What Will Happen If Nothing Is Done About Climate Change?

Nations around the world are working to fix the problem of climate change. A lot has been done already, but those efforts aren’t going to be enough. A solution is yet to be found, and if nothing is done, the lasting impact will be devastating.

According to PRI.org, f nothing is done about climate change, the temperatures will continue to rise (France-Presse). This will cause intense heat waves in regions that are typically warm. Another impact of the rising temperatures is the sea level. As said before in a previous blog post, when the sea levels rise, extreme weather will occur. Some places will be underwater due to flooding while other places will be dry and shriveled due to droughts. People living in places that are affected by the rising sea level will be forced to flee their homes.

Our planet can only take so much. If we do nothing about this growing problem, the consequences will be catastrophic. This means severe droughts, horrible flooding, (which Nebraska has had their fair share of recently,) and disastrous weather all around.
