Let's face it. It's real, and things are getting heated.

What is Climate Change?
Climate change- you’ve probably heard it somewhere before, whether it be on the news, in an article, or even on social media. It’s everywhere for us to see, and because of this, we’ve grown too comfortable with it. Too comfortable with the fact that our planet is dying and we are standing by like an audience watching a scary sci-fi movie, only this time we are in the movie and we actually are in danger. The words “climate change” don’t really spark anything within you, do they? It’s time for that to change. I want to make you feel scared and alarmed, because that is how this matter should be treated. It’s time to wake up and face the fact that climate change is real, and time is almost up.
Climate change, as explained by GlobalChange.gov, is the dramatic increase in temperature across Earth’s surface, oceans, and atmosphere, and is driven by human activity (What’s Happening). A plethora of scientific charts and data provide evidence that it is real, and it’s happening around us. Reportedly, the climate is changing faster now than it ever has in the history of modern civilization. Doesn’t this scare you, even in the slightest? Just look at how much the Earth has changed in the past few decades. Now imagine how much it will change in the next few.
Earth is changing at an alarming rate. We the people must open our eyes to see that this is a real issue that must be acted upon. It’s not a small-world problem, it’s not an issue blown out of proportion, and it definitely is not a myth. Climate change is now, and until everyone agrees with that, we can say good-bye to the future.
